Raxis Engineering was involved in the MEP design for this facility. This project represented a major mechanical and electrical challenge as there were very stringent requirements by the Department of State Health Services to maintain its certification for an Ambulatory Surgical Center. Among the most important requirements were the outside air requirements, building and room pressurization, temperature requirements, alarm systems, controls instrumentation and sequence of operations for emergency situations and power outage.
